Printing Screen not showing when printing via USB

Bug Description

When printing from the USB connection, the screen does not change to show the "printing" status with pause / options / print time. It remains on the main menu display (Print / Control / Settings / Info).

My Configurations

Firmware 1.2.1 for both board and display

Steps to Reproduce

1. Connect a computer to the USB port - for example Octoprint on a Raspberry Pi 4.
2. Print GCODE from computer (or Octoprint in my case)
3. Screen still remains on main menu

Expected behavior: Screen changes to display print status with temperatures, print times, and controls for pausing / configuring print

Actual behavior: Screen remains on main menu
