NeuroFlex Environment Setup Guide

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up the NeuroFlex environment, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

Prerequisites

  • Git
  • Python 3.8.12
  • pyenv (for managing Python versions)
  • pip-tools (for managing dependencies)

Setup Instructions

  1. Clone the Repository:

    git clone https://github.com/VishwamAI/NeuroFlex.git
    cd NeuroFlex
  2. Set Up Python Environment:

    • Ensure Python 3.8.12 is installed using pyenv:
      pyenv install 3.8.12
    • Create and activate a virtual environment:
      pyenv virtualenv 3.8.12 neuroflex-env
      pyenv activate neuroflex-env
  3. Install Dependencies:

    • Use pip-tools to manage dependencies:
      pip install pip-tools
      pip-sync requirements.txt
  4. Run Tests:

    • Execute the test suite to verify everything is working:
      pytest
