Releases: Vin-meido/XUnity-AutoTranslator-SugoiOfflineTranslatorEndpoint
1.4.6
This release allows using the endpoint without needing to specify installation path. Useful if you want to start the server yourself, or want a shared backend server across multiple games that you manage yourself. You can enable this behavior by leaving the InstallPath
blank.
Other than that, the plugin now also officially supports ctranslate2, and can be enabled using the EnableCtranslate2
setting in XUAT configuration. This assumes you installed ctranslate2 in Sugoi using the installation script from https://discord.com/channels/778778890239344641/906562033397407824/1033742010118570074
1.4.5
1.4.4
1.4.3.1
See README.md for install instructions.
This is just a rebuild of 1.4.3, directly linking to XUAT 5.0.0. If you already have the endpoint working for you, then no need to update.
If your XUAT is stuck with on a version older than 5.0.0, either update XUAT or stick with the old 1.4.3 build of this endpoint.

1.4.3 Minor Feature Release

1.4.2 Minor feature release
See README.md for install instructions.
This release adds an additional fix for the backend to minimize occurrence of repeating text.

1.4.1 Bugfix Release
See README.md for install instructions.
This release fixes a bug that causes the backend server to never start if the endpoint is not configured as the initial primary translation endpoint (and then switching to it during game runtime).
The backend server will also now return text as is if the original does not contain any JP characters for translations (to preserve formatting). In addition, we added some text formatting post processing so that returned text can somehow appear consistent.

1.4.0
See README.md for install instructions.
This release requires version 4.21.0 (or newer) of XUnity.AutoTranslator, if you don't wish to update XUAT, you should remain to 1.3.0 until you can upgrade.
If your game is il2cpp, XUAT also has 4.21.0 builds available for your game. Make sure to update to that version to use this translator backend: bbepis/XUnity.AutoTranslator#159
Thanks to Scrublord#2548, XUAT now has improved support for offline translators, so the reduced delay and disabled spam checks now work across all loaders (where XUAT works itself). The XUATHooks plugin is no longer needed so make sure to remove that after updating.

1.3.0
See README.md for install instructions.
This endpoint should now support the following configurations:
- UnityInjector via ReiPatcher or Sybaris
- BepInEx 5.4
- IL2CPP games with bleeding edge BepInEx 6 + ILC2PP version of XUAT
For ReiPatcher and Sybaris, just place SugoiOfflineTranslator.dll
file in your XUAT translators directory.
For BepInEx 5.4, extract SugoiOfflineTranslator-BepInEx-5.4.zip to your game directory.
For Unity ILC2PP games, extract SugoiOfflineTranslator-BepInEx-6-ilcpp.zip to your game directory. This requires the bleeding edge versions of BepInEx as well as the latest XUAT targetting IL2CPP (see bbepis/XUnity.AutoTranslator#159).
Also, the built in server should now normally only start if SugoiOfflineTranslator is configured as the primary endpoint. It should no longer start if you set it to a different endpoint.

1.2.0
See README.md for install instructions.
We've fully removed the unity dependency and resolved the request delay plaguing some systems with certain network configurations. The translation requests should now be as fast as it was with unity 5.6, but we can now use this for wherever XUAT is supported.
This release has also been built with an older stub library of XUAT (4.13) so this can be used with older installations if you do not wish to update your xuat installation.
Note: Versions prior to 1.2.0 had instructions to extract SugoiOfflineTranslatorServer.py
together with the translator dll. This is no longer needed and removing the old server.py file can be done.
