steam client - close button only minimize window in gnome classic #1372

I use Ubuntu 12.04, gnome classic installed using:
apt-get install gnome-session-fallback

Close button minimize the window, but it should close the window and steam client should run in background (steam icon on indicator applet)

It does this in Unity too, so probably not-a-bug or wont-fix.

Duplicate of #11 and #1025. Currently a feature, if you have a tray icon working, you can force closing windows by setting this environment variable: STEAM_FRAME_FORCE_CLOSE=1.

We want the behavior you describe however app indicators have been troublesome for us for various reasons, so we're minimizing for now.
