Describe the bug
VSCodium promises "no tracking/telemetry".
Still, on first launch VSCodium tries to connect to redirector.gvt1.com
which seems to be a google server

Please confirm that this problem is VSCodium-specific

  • This bug doesn't happen if I use Microsoft's Visual Studio Code. It only happens in VSCodium.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install latest VSCodium trhough flatpak
  2. Launch it
