Describe the bug
Since the latest update, (v 1.94.2) Vscodium starts always with the primary sidebar with view on the EXPLORER open.
As alternative, un-checking view>appearance>primary sidebar seems not to work and is ignored.
Please confirm that this problem is VSCodium-specific
This bug doesn't happen if I use Microsoft's Visual Studio Code. It only happens in VSCodium.
I only use VSCodium and wouldn't know.
Please confirm that the issue/resolution isn't already documented
First time I see this bug, after years.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Close the primary sidebar
Quit VSCodium
Launch VSCodium and you'll see it starts with the primary sidebar open
Expected behavior
VSCodium should remember the last state of the primary sidebar.
So, if this sidebar wasn't open on quit, then VSCodium shouldn't start next time with the sidebar open. Agreed, it's a little bug, but it's an annoying little bug.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS: Linux Mint 21.3
Architecture: x64
Version: 1.94.2
App Manager: deb
Sandboxed: yes
