If we have something like this it would probably be neat to have a "copy to new timeslot"-feature, for complex cases (nothing sent during lunch every day, say, or start late on Mondays, end late on Fridays...) |

When we have queues there'll be the option to either queue up or ignore what happens in the gaps as well. |

Currently, a timeslot roughly consist of one or more time recurrences, basically a day with a single block of time defined in it: start and end, or entire day. Such a timeslot can only be in use by a single notification profile at a time, and a notification profile cannot exist without a timeslot. If it is desired to have multiple blocks of time in the same day (say, midnight til morning and evening until midnight) it is currently necessary to have multiple timeslots using the same filters.
If a day could have multiple blocks of time, the frontend could use a calendar week widget of some sort and the user could draw up what blocks they need, see figure.
No support for overlapping blocks would be needed.
