determine LOE for tcplPlot() with standalone tcplfit2 output

For consideration of level of effort (LOE): could tcplPlot use a flat file/dataframe that contains certain output from tcplfit2 (rather than making a call to invitrodb) for fitting? I.e., how extensible is tcplPlot, and how hard would it be to make it extensible to the tcplfit2 output from other sources like HTTr and HTPP?
