Hello,

It appears that WaveletExt.jl is released under an MIT license; is that right?
https://github.com/UCD4IDS/WaveletsExt.jl/blob/master/LICENSE

It would be good if this file could be converted to Markdown format so that GitHub will recognize it automatically as MIT:
https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/blob/master/LICENSE.md

Hi,

WaveletsExt.jl is released under the 3-Clause BSD license, not the MIT license. Will a conversion to Markdown still be necessary? Thanks.

Sorry, i confused MIT and BSD-3. (which kind of proves my point: it would be good to clarify)

What i'm saying is that GitHub doesn't make the LICENSE type appear on the front page:

This allows GitHub to print a nice human-friendly banner above the legal description of the LICENSE:

Thanks for the pointers. I've changed the LICENSE filetype to Markdown, but I don't see any expected changes as shown in your screenshots. Do I have to rewrite my LICENSE files? This issue has been resolved by deleting my previous LICENSE and re-adding it under Insights -> Community -> License.
