On October 11th 2022, we'll be joined by Nicholas Feinberg of PleasingFungus Games. We'll be chatting to Nicholas about his latest game, Manufactoria 2022, as well as past games such as Silicon Zeroes, and his game development journey.
About Nicholas
Nicholas Feinberg first began to program in high-school math class, where he learned TI-Basic for the pocket calculator. He began to make games on the platform almost immediately thereafter. He spent years slaving over the cramped device, painstakingly entering text designed to match the limitations of the system (seven lines of text per screen, sixteen characters per line), until one day he discovered that you could also program games for the PC. He never looked back.
Nicholas's first successful release was Manufactoria, after which he decided that he needed a studio name and to begin referring to himself in the third person. Accordingly, he founded PleasingFungus Games, named after his family's totem animal. His endless series of triumphs continue to this day.
