it worked with roxas, pi |
hi, friend |
allright, i also need some help to get my lcd working, on my banana pi zero m2. i use this lcd, and followed this instruction to make it run but lcd still white (hes working, tested with spi on a raspberry pi zero w and works fine) only screen is important, not the touch). is the overlay dts file correct and do the gpios match? it cant be so hard, can it? |
See if you can but you have to take several considerations because unlike the raspberry pi zero the banana pi has a remapping of pins and given the scripts that are in the forum you may have to check which pins are suitable, also the overlap is correct to some extent because the function of certain pins changes a bit but it should not affect if so the connection diagram of the screen 1- Connection diagram.
Even though I don't know if the touch operation part is the best way to implement it like this, but it would be that you review it, also remember that you have to enable spi from armbian-config on friend hardware, that would be what I can tell you for now since I don't have the screen at this time. |
I tried spi 1 and 0. Also enabled the spi port in armbianEnv.txt, and cs 1 , i really tried anything in wiring. my thought points to the overlay that is not written correctly. is there a tutorial to find the right numbers? the part after &pio at the end of the overlay. i can show you some pics of my wiring and the dmesg | grep spi output, also the gpio readall command, later that day. im really into it to get this running. i have cool projects in mind, this just brakes a lot. |
Look, friend, in this case I can't help you much since when I implemented the overlay so that the pins could work, I did it on the table that detailed bpi in its official wiki, you would have to review the wiki to find out what you can do change but in my case since I don't have the screen I can't do much with the issue but from what I've been talking to some people they were able to make the screen work but without using the touch, it is also possible that your motherboard is already damaged Also, I use spi screens like st7789 and I haven't had any problems, but you can send me a message anyway |
