Dream Team's Industry Partner Meeting Notes

Industry partner

Our industry partner is Alex from Parajuniper

Sept 30

  • Met async with the industry partner for our project and had him look over our milestones for the project to verify that it is both fair and realistic within the given time frame
    • He agreed that we set out a good plan for the rest of the semester and gave good tips for some of the stuff we wrote
    • Concluded that we will associate questionnaireResponses to hardcoded patients for now
    • He approved of our questionnaire pagination
      • We will query a set of 10 questionnaires amd allow people to choose one or select a new set of 10 questionnaires which will reduce server stress and app load times
    • Discussed external tools that currently exist and whether our project is really worth the effort if existing tools already do what we want to build

November 5th

  • Met async with our industry partner one last time before the submission of Assignment 2 to show him our progress on our application and what we have completed so far as well as how this matches up to the milestones we created
  • We were asked the following questions to which we gave an answer to:
    • Which FHIR test server are you using?
    • How did retrieving the Questionnaires with the ids go?
    • What's the test coverage like at M2?
    • What are your thoughts on creating the UI for questionnaire selection?
  • Overall he confirmed that we are well on track with our milestones and showing good progress thus far

November 29

  • Industry partner shared a github repo that will allow us to run our own FHIR server locally instead of relying on the HAPI FHIR server since it is frequently down and so our project cannot function properly by not being able to pull and submit questionnaires.
  • Industry Partner shared that our project progress is well and we are on track to meet the expectations we set for ourselves in the beginning of the term
