Beginning at least 9/1/22 (when I noticed it) and corroborated by other users, any edits made in the workflow editor allow you to insert, delete, or otherwise edit one character, then skip the cursor to the end of the paragraph. It is making the workflow unuseable, which is why it has been labeled a high priority issue.

Edit: The last edit I know I made with it working properly seems to be 8/26.

I will try to capture video when I am not at work, later today.

Hint found this: decaporg/decap-cms#5092

It seems like it's a Netlify issue with the newest version of Chrome.

Temporary workaround till they get it worked out: Anything But Chrome
