TWRP 3.4 fails to flash any rom on Nexus 7 2013 wifi - FLO. 3.3 works.

Device codename: Nexus 7 2013 wifi FLO
TWRP version: 3.4

WHAT STEPS WILL REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM?

Try to install any rom.

WHAT IS THE EXPECTED RESULT?

Flashes rom

WHAT HAPPENS INSTEAD?

Error 7. Checked assert tags and they match getproduct run from terminal inside twrp. Remove assert tags, rebuild zip. "Invalid zip file format". No install.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Downgrading to TWRP 3.3 fixed everything. I wasted 2 hours scouring the web for information and workarounds when this was a 3.4 twrp problem
