Currently, when a user wants to report something, he/she has to send a pm/mail/whatever to report harmful content, including links of the reported content.
A possible improvement, imho, could be to add a button next to every other action button (i.e. the possibility to send a pm to the user who posted a comment or a wall post), which would automatically send a notification (including a link to the reported element) to admins. Doing this, imho, would speed up the process of reporting.

That’s probably a good idea, but I have concerns about the drawbacks of such a button. It will make it easier for troll groups to massively and falsely report comments they don’t like. In case of a big conflict, like what happened with Kabyle and Berber, it may cause more trouble than anything else.

To be honest I don’t really like the "report to authority" attitude. What about incentives for members to become more responsible and self-moderate?

In other online communities where I saw such a system, there were also rules according to which users who abused this reporting system were blocked for some time, so maybe this could be a solution for troll groups (at least for me)

in my opinion, maybe the whole community should be involved to define such incentives with a redefinition of rules (to cover every aspect of the community itself) in order to arrive at a point of self-moderation
