NOTE: This is a stretch request. I understand it would likely be a large undertaking. Maybe it will be done, maybe not. I just wanted to throw the idea out there.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I really enjoy when video games are given Mirror Modes that flip the world horizontally, because it makes areas that you've already been in before feel fresh and disorienting, in a good way. I've played The Wind Waker many times in the past, and I'm sure many others have also, so adding a Mirror Mode would help provide a new spin on the game.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add an option that mirrors the entire game world along the x-axis, so that everything east is west, and vice versa. This would only affect areas and maps. Menus, textboxes, and the HUD would remain the same. Specifically, this option would at least affect:

  • Overworld and dungeons
  • Cutscenes
  • Sea Chart, Treasure/Triforce Charts, and Special Charts
  • Dungeon maps and minimaps
  • Sailing compass
  • Title screen (the world, not the actual title)

Again, this is a stretch request. Just something to possibly consider.
