On Android devices, SumSub onboarding closes without any result when the app goes to the background

Steps to reproduce:

Launch Sumsub onboarding
Put the app into the background
Open the app again
Sumsub onboarding automatically closes?
Trying to relaunch Sumsub onboarding will results in [Error: Aborted since another instance is in use!]

(4) is a weird behavior that only happens in Android. Does anyone have any ideas?
