When an OBS Scene is active, colour the background say red, and when not active then set the background back to default colour.
The same could be done for the Record/Stop button (red for recording), as well as even the Pause/Resume button (Red for paused).
Another status that could be useful is for any/all OBS plugin buttons to show a small red square/dot at say the top left corner to indicate if OBS plugin is NOT connected to an OBS Studio app server. If there is an active connection, the red indicator can be disabled (or optionally change to green).
The above can be optional tick boxes in settings if people don't want them to appear, but I think they would also give a lot more feedback and interactivity.
