Installation of Stackstorm v3.8 #6233
Comments
Can you please help us with the updates ? |
suggest use docker |
we are following the steps given in website that should work...right ? |
The step looks to be outdated. StackStorm only supports up to version 4.4 of Mongodb, so you should follow the official MongoDB instructions: https://www.mongodb.com/docs/v4.4/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-red-hat/ |
we are done with the Stackstorm 3.8 installation on RHEL8 machine. |
I've heard of a tool to help convert mistral to orquesta https://github.com/StackStorm/orquestaconvert but I've never used it myself and mistral workflows have been left in the past many years ago. Seeking help from people on traps, tricks and tips when converting will probably be hit and miss. |
Can someone from stackstorm support help us on the ask? we are done with the Stackstorm 3.8 installation on RHEL8 machine. |
StackStorm, the company, was purchased by ExtremeNetworks and the StackStorm project was donated to the Linux Foundation. https://stackstorm.com/2019/10/07/stackstorm-joins-the-linux-foundation/ This means, the community at large maintains and supports StackStorm. There is a partner programme for people who need commercial support for StackStorm https://stackstorm.com/partners/, which might be what you're asking for. |
we are installing the Stackstorm on Linux machine as per the steps shared in stackstorm forum
on the step - sudo yum -y install mongodb-org
we are getting below error-
