nzlosh hasn't had much free time to work on py3.10 and will try to pickup the work this month.

Julius B might be able investigate the effort required to switch to either gevent or asyncio.
A code jam was suggested as a possible way to create a collaborative environment for large tasks
like eventlet retirement. nzlosh will look at how Coding Jams are run and see if it's possible to run trail to get feedback.
