Hello.

Is there any chance of adding swap functionality from the swap branch if it is not yet accepted into the mainstream branch?

PS: sortable PR

Hello, I will only release draggable version based on sortable version available on npm.
So the answer is no.

Hi, I understand that you do not implement the swap functionality, can anyone point me to an implementation and an example for swap functionality? I really need to only swap the 2 items and could not find any usable examples. Thanks!

Hello 👋 The Swap feature plugin have apparently been added to the master branch since v1.10.0-rc1.

So I guess it could be added now (if we bump the "sortablejs": "^1.9.0" dependency) ?

I can't wait to use that feature in our Vue app ! 🙂

Hi!
For anyone who really needs this, there's a small hack you can do explained in this article

Kudos to the author @okamuuu !

@David-Desmaisons It's been months since we heard anything. Sortable now has the functionality, please merge the #817, I think there are enough votes on this feature.

FYI, if anyone finds this, the original article has now been moved to Making Vue.draggable to be swappable
