SonarQube 6.4 provides a new feature called "global Sensor" which could help improving the performance of the code coverage measurement a lot because of it's cross-project nature in .Net (tests are written into some separate project/assembly).

A community user @Greybird is also proposing PR #200 to provide this caching feature.
