The plugin does not aggregate syntax highlighting protobufs for multi-platform projects. Instead, it only uploads one of the protobuf files.

If the project uses conditional compilation to emit different code for different platforms then some of the conditionally-compiled code will not be highlighted correctly in SonarQube.
