Hello,

I am sorry to ask, but do you have some step by step instructions? I have never done a project like this, but I am desperate to try. I have just ordered all the components you listed.

Sorry for the stupid question, but will I also need an adruino board in addition to the hardware you listed?

Thanks for any help you are able to provide. My goal is to add this bed occupancy sensor to our toddlers bed and then plug into Home Assistant... possibly using the ESPHome component...

Thanks again for any help you can give me

I have most of the kit now, just wanted to add this piece to the recommended hardware: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13878

As the load cells have a rather short wire, I will need to extend the wires as well which will add further complication. (I want to use this on a baby cot)

Anyway, I would be happy to write this up as soon as I get it right…

Hey,

Did you manage to get this working in the end ?
I would also be interested in details on how this all fits together.

Anyone make progress here? I’m a software engineer by trade, need some pointers in the hardware parts.

I am useless with a soldering iron, but hopefully will have it all hooked up by the weekend....
