Is there a way to display a S57 ENC in freeboard-sk ?

Afaik the only way to render S57 charts to be consumed in web applications like Freeboard is using AvNav and its O-Charts rendering capability.

Thank you Teppo, I have already started implementing S-57 support in freeboard-sk (a more direct approach, S57 ENC converted to vectortiles so you have the possibility to show more S57 object information ).

I'm interested in the technology of creating vector tiles from S57.
What tools are used? Is it always on the fly, or is the result cached?
Is it MapBox vector tiles? In these tiles, do you use MapBox layer names or S57 layer names?

What is the way to display the vector tiles? Which lib is used?
Are styles used according to the MapBox specification or not?

• Tiles are created with s57-tiler ( still a work in progress, so expect things to crash)
• Tiles are never created on the fly.
• Mapbox vector tiles are created with S57 layer and attribute names
• Openlayers is used
• Openlayer styles are created with s57.service.ts

I don't understand anything about Angular, so it's difficult for me to understand s57.service.ts.
Could you tell me in a nutshell what's going on there?

There's actually not much angular specific about it, it is more openlayers specific:

The s57.service.ts getStyle function creates openlayer styles from the S57 features attributes, more or less the same way opencpn is doing it, see
Opencpn s52plib and the iho (s52*) standards documentation, not freely available but if you google for it there is a lot to find.

in s57.service.ts for now only the bare minimum is implemented.
