Acceptance Criteria:

• it is possible to define a map area for different map-based survey questions or the idea map
• It is possible to add GIS Layers on these map(s)
• It is possible to add multiple POI (points, path, areas) with text on the map(s)
• the created map areas, POIs, GIS Layers are reusable for all maps

Pain Point:

• Currently, city planning offices are unable to direct attention to specific map areas while gathering feedback. This leads to generic and scattered responses that are not useful for targeted city planning.
• Citizens are not currently exposed to existing planning proposals when providing feedback, missing out on an opportunity to give relevant suggestions.
• Citizens often lack context or understanding of the areas under discussion, leading to less informed feedback.

Value Add:

• This feature will allow urban planners to get specific, targeted feedback about particular areas, leading to more precise planning and development.
• With the addition of GIS layers, citizens will be able to see and give feedback on current proposals, making their input more applicable and valuable.
• By highlighting specific places, citizens are given context and guidance. This should increase the quality and relevance of their feedback.
