In the README.md, referring to mobile strategy, the following statement is made...

Removal of "mobile first". We no longer need to make this statement as it is taken for granted.

The use of the phrase "taken for granted" implies an underestimation of value, whereas given the context, it could be understood that the statement no longer needs to be made, because it should be assumed.

Is the latter correct?

My view is the latter as well, and I think that's also the gist of the discussion we had 4-5 months ago.
