Advice for debugging installation process (unzipping, copying, ...) #5714

I already found the relevant line: Line 613 in f930280 The command that is run on my system is:
which leads to an empty zig.exe which should be (and is shown in the .zip explorer) 140 MB. I also tried manually extracting the .zip with the installed 7zip with the result that the binary in question is not extracted at all. I will check back with my AntiVirus settings or other Windows specific security features that might interfere, e.g. unsigned binaries. Any additional input would be appreciated. |

I already set up a dev env in which I can debug PowerShell scripts. Could you give me pointers where in the code I should look specifically for the issue of a 0 bit executable after
scoop install ...
? For debugging I already callscoop install -k ...
to trigger the download, unzipping and copying - where I suspect the cause of the error in one of the last two steps.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
