I bumped into this issue when running two different VS Code devcontainers.

Added to Blocked. According to microsoft/vscode-remote-release#5679 there may be an update in August.

Update the version of docker-in-docker to v2 (see above post)

We are already using version 2.0.0, which was released 2 month ago. That version should already include the fix.

I have not bumped into a case where I need more than one dev container to run on an instance since the creation of this ticket. The issue should be fixed according to the post referenced in this ticket.
