Wanted change/feature

  • Text: It would be helpful if a list of values for the @level-attribute in <archdesc> elements and <c> elements could be provided as in the previous versions of EAD or if a list of authoritative terms would be recommended in the standard.

We are working to create a "TS-EAS vocabulary" with terms for @level and other attributes, which hopefully will address this issue (see SAA-SDT/EAS-Best-Practices#6). Will be discussed in more detail by TS-EAS during their meeting on 12/13 August 2024 at the SAA Annual Meeting.
