You mentioned here that you came up with a temp solution that involved natively inheriting ScrollView -- is there any chance you could post that solution somewhere (perhaps in this repository) and provide a link in the GitHub issue? We are experiencing the same thing and would like to have a workaround until the underlying issue is fixed.

Sorry I'm not in front a computer for the next week or so, but I have posted the code in the original issue, you are only missing the way to use your own native component, which you should be able to find online
Thanks for the reply. The part I'm still unclear on is what you referred to - "the way to use your own native component." I haven't been able to find a resource that outlines the steps involved. If you have the chance to provide a resource on the subject, it would be really appreciated.
