How to disable/enable the dropdown

Is there any option to disable the dropbox dropdown completely?

Was hoping for the same thing. There's this old repo if you want some inspiration: https://github.com/gunjanpatel/Supreme-Disable-Dropdown-feature-for-DropKick

I have serious doubts about the supreme customizations, as they still allow selections via arrow keys ;).

Although this reference also contains some problems, this old repo can be a good starting point for implementing this functionality in the next plugin version.
