Return promise from typescript client

We are using nswag to generate typescript clients (angular template) This returns Observable<> Are there some way to make it return Promise<> instead?

Today we are using clients like this:
const response = await firstValueFrom(this.someClient.someRequest())

It would be easier and better if we can just do it this way
const response = await this.someClient.someRequest()
