RTB4 on MacBook with M1 chip? #46

I've been trying to install RTB4 on a new MacBook Air with M1 chip but it seems like some dependencies don't compile with arm64 architecture.
Has anyone done it, successfully?

Hi,

For some reason just seeing this now. We have not yet tried this with an M1 chip. Did you eventually get it working?

Hello,

Unfortunately I did not. I asked about it on Mitsuba [Installation on macOS with M1 (arm64)? #393] There is currently a promising discussion going on.

That seems like the limiting factor, then. Not sure how hard it will be to get it working with RTB if it comes into existence.
