Possible to use custom matchers with expectObservable?

I'd like to use jasmine.objectContaining when asserting the value of an observable. Something like:

expectObservable(obs$).toBe('a', {
      a: jasmine.objectContaining(expectedResult),
})

I don't think this is possible currently. Unless there is some other way to do this test?
