Languages marked with an * did not receive substantial updates since the translation project was started.
These languages use - untouched from the original - the American English format. Its format is 12/20/52 - month/day/year, with two digits for each.

Research 7: Mentions the destruction of Timor Station from Jacob's Rest on the 2252-12-30 in
rd_res_houghton5whereas last mails in the mission "Timor Station" date to 2252-12-24, which means the Station has been destroyed in between these 2 dates.
- Jacob's Rest: The last mail-date from "Rydberg Reactor" dates to 2252-12-25 whereas as mail 'nukeangermail' in "Timor Station" dates to 2252-12-24 - which can be assumed to have been sent at the date of the gameplay-happening according to the reference of behaviour.
- Swarmopedia: All articles are written in the year "43" or "53". If that's the case then all entries are very old, from 2243 or 2253, or have been written in between the campaigns happening.
Through the fact that the game uses a 2 digit formatting for its dates years, it isn't clear in which century the lore is.
- 21st century: The workshop campaign Accident 32 has an description text using the year 2032. This add-on has been made official later on. The descriptive text didn't make it into the games files.
- 23rd century: expansionnews_english.txt contains lore about the Interstellar Expansion Act of 2202, which celebrates its 50th Anniversary. Althought this newsfile only exists in the games files (since it was released with the original Alien Swarm in 2010) but is never used in the game. The headline of that article has been integrated into the new main menus newsticker.
