Just trying out RainLoop on my localhost system. Upon first run it complained about Curl, which I installed via terminal as root. Now all I get is a blank screen, and looking at the source view, nothing is being output to the browser. I'm wondering if RL doesn't work via localhost.

BTW, running Ubuntu Saucy, PHP, Apache.

Are there any errors in the apache logs?

You can confirm that the problem still present?

Sorry, at the moment I am having issue's with my Internet Connection to be able to test things.
When I get home I'll make sure error reporting is enabled in php.ini, and check the Apache Logs for issue's.

Any news?
I don't like open tasks :)

None so far sorry. There's no point in me trying anymore until I have my Internet fixed. Sorry.

I'll close the task for now, and either reopen later, or make a new one.

Just wanted to say that it works fine on my server, using the server's local postfix/dovecot, so it's technically possible. However I used the FQDN in the settings and not 127.0.0.1.

127.0.0.1 - - [03/Dec/2013:16:49:37 +1100] "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1" 500 208 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0"

Is what is produced in the error log, using http://localhost/rainloop/

It looks like access.log file

it's from /var/log/apache2/access.log

What is the filename of the log file required, as using locate to search for apache.log or apache2.log returns nothing.

From the /var/log/apache2/error.log

Here is difficult to understand what it is, without access to the server. Maybe you have the wrong apache mod-rewrite configuration

Don't know, I did discover that RL works on a local Win7/WAMP setup that I also use for away from home development, and that has the same Apache mod-rewrite settings, otherwise my own stuff wouldn't work.

Just fixed the issue, it turned out an .htaccess file I'd dropped into the /var/www folder as backup was causing the issue. It's all good now, and possibly points to a solution with others with the same issue.

I have installed and configured Rainloop on my web server. But the user login page is not showing at all ! What can I do now ?
