I have searched open and closed issues for duplicates
This isn't a feature request (I couldn't create a uservoice account)
This is not a report about my app not working as expected
I apologize for requesting a feature here, but I was unable to create an account using the link you provided, with successive errors occurring.
a very common problem I face is knowing what is using my network (especially in the background), and for me this is a security issue. I would love if you added a local way to view which software and sites/IPs used the network, and how many GB were consumed in downloading and uploading on each one.
this possibility of purely local control, which could be optional, would go well with Proton's commitment to safety, as it gives us the possibility of greater transparency and control.
and, to improve this even further, you could add a custom option (which could be present in paid plans), which could allow the user to configure so that the download/upload traffic from specific IPs/sites or software to be completely blocked. That precise control would be fantastic!
Thank you very much for the great work!
