Whenever I run a program on VSCode for the first time after launching VSCode, it displays this exception. The exception does not prevent the code from running and does not cause any problems later on either. It only appears when I run a program for the first time, after that no matter how many times I run the program again or a different program or even if I kill the terminal and reopen it, it does not show. Although this doesn't cause any issues when running the code, I am just curious as to why this occurs and how to fix it as it seems to show all the time when opening VSCode for the first time and running a program. After this exception, the code runs and the terminal seems to work normally. It is raised again if I close and reopen VSCode and run a code.
This issue was already fixed (see #1306). Please upgrade to the 2.3.5 version of PSReadLine from PowerShell Gallery.
See the upgrading section for instructions. Please let us know if you run into the same issue with the latest version.
