Program softlocking when trying to draw with tablet

Description
So... I've been using Pinta for not too long and I mostly try to draw my artwork using an UGEE M708 tablet. Sometimes when I draw, the program still responds, but on the worst of occassions, the damn program just softlocks. Like I can still save files and do the "Save As" key command, but I can't draw, click on anything, or even try to close the program if I haven't saved one of my files.

It's like the program just creates an invisible barrier in front of itself to prevent me from using it and I really don't know what's causing it. Is it an issue with my processor? Is it a Windows issue?

To Reproduce
I've been able to reproduce it quite a few times, but it might be a whole lot different for some users. Simply open up Pinta and try drawing using whatever tablet you use and then when you least expect it... BAM! No more drawing for you! Invisible Barrier is up, so now you can't draw a single thing!

Additional Info
I doubt a screenshot or any sort of video evidence will really help, cuz this just happens at random. I just don't get how this keeps happening, as my system is compatible with this art program and it should work just fine!

I don't have a tablet myself so hopefully another contributor might be able to test / investigate this ..

My only suggestion would be to try out the Pinta 2.2 development build (https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta/releases/tag/dev-preview-builds) which is ported to GTK4 and possibly might improve how tablet device events are translated and passed along to Pinta's code
