Subject: Rare playlist playback issue and suggestion for improvement

Hi there,

Happy Sunday experts, 👍

I'm writing to report a rare issue I encountered while using the latest version of your android-youtube-player library.

Issue:

  • In some Youtube playlists, the library encounters an error and fails to load videos when the index parameter is not set.
  • This behavior was observed with the playlist: UUnUdm0u-2FRffBnxQYHuTHA
  • Interestingly, the same playlist works perfectly fine on Safari and other browsers.
  • the Youtube Playlist might start from index 3 not the first index.

Suggestion:

  • To address this rare condition and improve playlist handling, I highly recommend adding a new feature: a starting index parameter for both Kotlin and Java implementations.

Additional Information:

  • I was able to reproduce this issue today, July 14, 2024, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time in North America.

Thanks and Night Wishes!

Thank you for your time and effort in maintaining this library. While this is a rare occurrence, I believe this improvement would enhance the library's robustness for playlist playback. if you have any questions or concern regard this issue or any other issues please kindly let me know .thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Best regards,
Truly Yours,
Cheers!
