The month of October was really productive, i got more traction for Phala Nework in Nigeria both online and offline at web3globalcon to a point that i've been getting more communities interested in community patnership.

1. I collaborated with Bekka and Kamala to host a virtual workshop focusing on setting up the Viem AI agent SDK, we got some community patners like web3lagos, ethzabezi and web3afrika to share with their communities. The event was on google meet streamed on twitter live. After the event, we had a session with $30 in bounty and we had two winners of $15 each.

Outcome/Report:
We got more developers into the Phala African community - 14 new telegram user, <16 new followers. We also got 3 new communities looking to have workshops with Phala Network

Things to Improve on:

• Streaming on the main Phala Africa account

2. I reached out to Gopi from Hawkeye on Ethglobal Singpore to get him on a workshop and made me understand that most projects are just made for Hackathons and as such he won't be able to come for a session
3. Made a list of potential communities Phala Network could pathner with to really break into the African ecosystem

I wrote an article on the top 5 projects Singapore hackathon that got over 100 claps and a reshare on cubed a publication on medium for ai and tech.

I tested out the Viem SDK for onchain transaction across all Operating System - Apple, Ubuntu and Windows then i discovered a bug on Window OS and reported the issue :
Phala-Network/ai-agent-contract-viem#4.

Conclusion

October was great month for me as a Phala Network ambassador, I was able to make real contribution to the community and I am beginning to get identified in my local community as a Thought leader for AI, Data Privacy and Phala Network. Next step for me is to continue reach out to teams from EthGlobal San Francisco

Suggestion: It would really help our cause if we could get an intro to the hacking team from the devrel just few days after the hackathon when the idea is still fresh and the developers are still hyped. The longer it takes, the mess likely the team is willing to respond.
