I was talking to hospitality developer and he says that this problem is on your side. He said that that equiping sidearms is a colony job and guests perform colony jobs. Pat of his message is: It's up to the mod adding sidearms to make sure only sensible and owned sidearms are equipped.
Basically guests equip as sidearms all weapons that they can find.
I hope you can fix this.
