Both these sub-elements of the channel indicate when an aggregator can skip fetching the feeding.

<skipHours> can contain up to 24 (0 to 23) <hour> sub-elements. <skipDays> can contain up to 7 <day> sub-elements, valid values are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
