Summary

Based on the findings in Jeganathan et al. (preprint), surface ReHo exhibits a gyral bias because of how surface projection works. In the preprint, they mention using "spatial autocorrelation as a function of geodesic inter-vertex distance" as a viable alternative to local correlation measures like ReHo.

Additional details

Less biased ReHo results on the surface.
