Hello

I wonder if it is possible to change the language of the paragraph: "We used R version 4.4.2 ([R Core Team, 2024]) and the following R packages". I would like to use this library in one of my research courses. However, the students write their papers in German and not in English. I know it is not much to translate, but the ability to change this sentence would be great. In German the sentence could be: Wir verwendeten R Version 4.4.2 ([R Core Team, 2024]) und die folgenden R-Pakete“.

Best wishes Jens

Hi @JensBoelte

Thanks for the suggestion. It shouldn't be too difficult to add support for different languages, at least for a few of them (English, German, French, Spanish...)

Is there a passive voice in German? If so, I'd need the sentence both in active and passive voice. Thanks

Hello,

In German there is active and passive voice. If you want to keep the statement short and to the point, an active version could be written as follows:
Wir verwendeten die R Version 4.4.2 ([R Core Team, 2024]) und die folgenden R-Pakete:

In passive voice:
Es wurden die Version 4.4.2 von R ([R Core Team, 2024]) und die folgenden R-Pakete verwendet

Best wishes and thanks a lot for your work.

Jens
