Brian,
I've worked through the first half of the book in detail (through chapter 9). Sincerely, it's very good content, and well-explained.

I ran across 20+ apparent errors in the book and code, and I recorded them in my study-notes.
I just posted the study-notes on my web-page:
https://jimyuill.com/embedded-systems/study-guide-freertos-book/index.html

After making my study-notes for the book, it seemed they could be useful to others. So, I expanded the prose and organization, to make them comprehensible to others, and to help me master the book's material.

Collectively, it's 38 pages, so I titled the study-notes as an "unofficial study-guide" for the book.
Each web-page has a comments section. I used the MIT License, so the work can be freely copied.

Any feedback is appreciated, especially corrections for misidentified bugs.

Any book like that will have tons of details, and it would not be reasonable to expect no errors. Thanks again for providing such a useful book.

Sincerely,
Jim Yuill
Greenville, SC

Hi Jim,

Thanks a lot for kind words and constructive feedback. I'll look through your notes, add them to others I've received and let you know if I have any questions/comments as I work through them.

regards,
Brian Amos
