Both the plug and the outlet seem to be detected closer than they actually are.

Could be in camera focal length.

Could be in camera extrinsics.

Currently compensated for with offsets

[berger] At least for outlet, tiny changes in outlet size create large depth changes.

Testing on different cameras and on different sockets will be important for figuring out where this is coming from.
