Currently I am rather busy working on several commercial projects. So not a lot of time to fix this. But you can participate and add the missing definitions. If you are a developer we could give you Git access so you can update the dutch /translate/nl/translate.php . We would really appreciate having a new developer on board. Do you have sufficient PHP en MySQL knowledge? Basic knowledge and enthusiasm will do just fine! If so do let us know. If not, then we shall try to fix this issue as soon as possible |
I don't have a problem in translating english text into dutch text. But i'm afraid I don't have enough knowledge to actually know where to put all those changes. But if you can tell me where to find all these English words and how I can change these to dutch I don't have a problem to edit these. |
Well, great! Download the latest translate/nl/translate.php, open it in your favorite text editor (TextMate, Dreamweaver, Gedit or Notepad++) and add the missing definitions . Make sure you follow the alphabetical order and general order. Once you have gone through you should be able to work it out. We use the US translate.php as base in case we are not certain and need a template. You can email the adjusted file t0 jasper {at} gmail dot com Thanks for contributing private6! |
Weird, the language file does have the correct translation $LANG['LABEL_HELPDESK_STATUS'] = 'Helpdesk status'; But why do I see LABEL_HELPDESK_STATUS as a title... I think there is something wrong with the settings of the translation file, it's linked wrong or something... |
I see. I will ask the main developer Carlos. Perhaps there is a general loading issue |
Thanks mate, It now looks like this, 3 different things put together. Dutch, missing translations and english |
Seems either a configuration or a loading issue, i've got the normal dutch translations on my screen. Maybe something changed in one of the last revisions, i'll try the latest revision and see if that works here. |
Okay thank you! I only picked out the "nl" tag from the selection box at the installation. So I don't think I could have messed it up there :p |
Seems to work here for an already installed base, didn't try a new installation. What does your ost-config.php look like? |
It does say that indeed! #Translator Configure |
I tried it with the latest revision and fresh installation. Works fine (except for the missing layout while installing). |
The last one, just downloaded it yesterday. I pressed downloads after that I could see "Downloads for OsTicket-Reloaded/OsTicket". And I downloaded the zip file. Extracted that and uploaded it to my server. After that I installed it with "nl". So I don't know what is wrong |
anyone... |
still nothing... |
Waiting for some feedback from Carlos. Will email him. |
I redownloaded the pack and now it works. Not everything is in dutch, but still it's allot better now becuase it's not missing titles. |
Cool. Glad to hear that. Please keep us posted of the words still missing |
In the settings area the settings above "Algemene instellingen" are translated. |
Well perhaps you can add the word after pulling the nl file and do a push request. Either that or add the missing definitions to the latest NL translate and email it to us. I do prefer the former. Git has nice tutorials to teach you how to work with it. |
I just did a new installation and I do see that the System Preferences area is not completely translated. Date and Time, Ticket Options & Settings, Email Settings, Autoresponders (Global Setting), Alerts & Notices sections are still in English. I think there are no language tags for that yet. Will discuss this with Carlos as soon as possible |
Hi everyone,
I installed the OsTicket version and picked the dutch version to translate it in.
This works for the main page, but if I go to the admin panel only the categories are translated.
So things like settings, staff, ... are translated. But if you click on those categories all the settings and editing options in the list you get below are still in english. Some even have tags missing
