Quick tutorial idea: docker 101 for neuroscientists? #135

I've seen docker used in a few tutorials here at CNS, but there are lots of folks in the audience who have not used docker from the looks of it. Perhaps a quick docker 101 tutorial may be useful to do (and record) at some point? "Docker 101 for neuroscientists"?

Things we can cover:

  • installing docker
  • concepts: images/layers/containers
  • docker hub/repositories: pullling
  • creating your own image
  • pushing/sharing your image

There are lots of tutorials for all this, but a 1 hour whirlwind tutorial may still be useful.

I remember you did a Containers tutorial last (?) year (#96), but I can't find the link on the website. Was that not recorded?
